LANDLADY Lois Tibbetts doesn't believe in fads such as 'gastro-pubs' and smoking bans – and 22 successful years pulling pints at the same pub shows she may be right..

In her years behind the bar she reckons to have pulled +750,000 pints.

And the hard-working grandmother says there is no magic secret to her success – just good free-flowing beer and lots of friendly conversation.

Mrs Tibbetts serves beer produced by real ale firm Greene King. She makes a point of serving her beer at cellar temperature and straight from the barrel.

The fanciest food at the pub is a packet of crisps and the only entertainment you will find is the punters' banter.
